COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light coloured best bitter with a dry, grainy body balanced by the ‘classic’ taste of East Kent Goldings hops. When a horse was lame or impossible for a horse to manouvre, it was up to the boaters themselves to make sure that the goods kept moving. A boatmen would take the horse’s place, strap himself into a harness attached by a rope to the boat, and start hauling the 22 tons like his life depended on it!

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Solid crusty, peppered bitter. Nice dry finish.
