Geeves Fully Laden IPA

COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An IPA with a hefty alcoholic strength and loads of Bobek hops used late in the boil to give it a citrusy, sweet floral taste and aroma and a satisfying bitterness. A traditional working narrow boat’s main purpose was to transport goods, which could have been anything from pottery to chocolate! Most of the craft’s available space was given up for this use but the boatman and his family also lived on the boat in the tiny boatman’s cabin at the stern. When the craft was ‘fully laden’, it could weigh up to 22 tons and would have been quite a sight as the gunwales dropped to just above the water line meaning the boat could take absolutely no more without shipping water.
