3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample from a 300 ml bottle, served at about 10 C. Clear appearance with a slight yellow tinge. Herbal aroma, perhaps some light estery notes. Lightly fruity flavour, but the alcohol finish and light burn is the most notable thing here. Lightly creamy mouthfeel before the burn hits.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very pale yellow body with an aroma of stale rice and some light sweets. Taste is very interesting, almost like a chocolate rice pudding. Sweet ending.

This a good Daiginjo sake. Not alot of flavor some melon but is drinkable. Finishes very clean and dry. Very little hint of the 15% alcohol.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear, slightly yellow colour. Smooth mouthfeel but with a little bite of alcohol.
As fridge cold, taste was sweet with rice and some fruity elements. A bit sour aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear pale yellow-green. Dry, sweet citrus aroma that’s simply delectable. Definitely some watermelon. Alcohol is not terrible for a sake, a kick at the end but overall easy-going, sweet and yummy.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of OFortuna. First sake rating. Crystal clear with just a hair of yellow hue. Aroma difficult to describe, perhaps light rice mold, yet not unpleasant. Mild flavor unlike the aroma. Smooth and slick on the tongue. Medium bodied, not quite dry. A little alcohol warming. Slightly sour, dry finish.

Very affordable but not the best check for your first daiginjos. This s the current emperors choice but but buy a good bottle of a smaller brewer to pop your daiginjo cherry pardon the crude analogy.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Fruity tones but too boozy for us. There was a hint of sweet tart flavor which was nice but overall, too sharp.
