A clear colorless sake. Gekkeikan is one of, if not the largest sake producer so I never have "high hopes" for any of their products but this is quite tasty! Very smooth (even at 17%). Taste of Almond paste with a bit of alcohol as it warms. Has just a touch of grainy sweetness in the middle and a nice bite at the tail. A dangerously easy bottle to drink
