Sep 16, 2009 Bottele. My first sparkling sake. Clear Sprite colour, lots of carbonation. Sweet soda like rice aroma. Good sparkling mouthfeel. Sweet soda flavour of rice, dry sweet finish.

Aug 31, 2009 Bottle from LCBO vintages- Clear with a fizzy thin cap of bubbles that fades quickly. Nose is faint, of rice and white wine. Flavours profile is good. White wine and sweet rise, a bit floral/herbal. Clean and refreshing, Nice tingle from the bubbles. I might not buy it again at $9.00, but it was nice to try.

Aug 29, 2009 Ah the champagne of Sakes. This bottled sake from the Kampai Japanese Steak House in NY poured a frothy head of clear bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated with a silvery hue to it. The mouth feel was lightly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor was mildly wine like thin watery with a very mild vinous note. The aroma was almost non-existent. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Jun 6, 2009 First experience with carbonated sake. Pleasant aroma. Reminds me of a lightly fragrant Chenin Blanc. Flavors of dough mixed with a bit of alcohol to it. Not overly sweet, but interestingly sweet. Interestin aftertaste lingering on the palate. Definately see how this would be good with a spicy spider roll.

Mar 31, 2009 250ml bottle. Pours a watery, light gold-yellow with a thin foamy head. Lots of carbonation. Looks like a soda pop.
Taste is sweet, of rice . Similar aroma. Drinks like a soda pop. Very easy to drink, refreshing and overall enjoyable. A little overpriced, but nice to drink.

Jan 23, 2009 Pours clear, with subtle aromas of melon and fruit. Flavor is strong melon, fruit, and rice. The carbonation throws you off at first, but it is interesting. Ends oin the dry side. Too bad it’s $7 for 250ml.

Oct 1, 2008 Sampled on 10/1/2008. This Junmai sake pours a clear color form a 250ml bottle. A very small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruit, apples and grapes, with some grain and a touch of sweetness. A light to medium bodied sake. A slightly sweet sake with some apple and grape flavor and a touch of melon. Spritzy carbonation. Very light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Jul 20, 2008 wow, i fucking loved this stuff...what a nice spritzy little surprise ... i liked the mouthfeel of this libation ... light flavour, i could drinking on a warm day by my hut on the beach somewhere on some japanese local beach ... would buy again ...
