BMan1113VR (669), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA Apr 26, 2008 Not as good as hou hou shu. Aroma has banana and coconut. Slightly yellow tinged body with bubbles. Taste is sweet rice and club soda with something that reminds me of DMS. Cloying sweetness...fizzy.
Suds_McDuff (976), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Jul 20, 2008 wow, i fucking loved this stuff...what a nice spritzy little surprise ... i liked the mouthfeel of this libation ... light flavour, i could drinking on a warm day by my hut on the beach somewhere on some japanese local beach ... would buy again ... kramertron (6), USA does not count Jun 3, 2008 Was an impulse buy and was pleasantly surprised, not bad, but also not great. But it’s a bit pricey, but much better than other Gekkeikan sake I’ve tried. Palidor19 (1207), Brandon, Florida, USA Apr 16, 2008 quite unique for what it is. Its a plain sweeter sake with light carbonation. for the posh party. nick76 (1970), Tampa, Florida, USA Apr 16, 2008 The aroma is like any sake with grass and rice. The appearance is yellow clear with bubbles. The flavor is sweeter and more bitter than most sakes but still tastes like sake. The palate is watery. Overall it’s interesting but not great.
