Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
Brewed with lager malt to produce a refreshingly crisp pale ale with a soft white head and fragrantly hopped with Bobek and Cascade hops.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. A slightly hazy pale gold with a thin white film. Good fruity hop aroma but I’m not liking the leaft green tea note. Big sherbet hop in the flavour but still quite green but not so much tea. Fruity, faintly bitter finish. Nice enough, just a little straight forward.

Cask by gravity at Paisley Beer Festival (26 Apr 12) - hazy pale golden ale, non-existent white head, very slight fruit hop aroma, pine notes, floral, smokey, neither bitter nor sweet

On cask at The Paisley Beer Festival. Pours a light golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of lemon, caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and lingering green apple.

cask at paisley ... golden amber ... thin white head ... soft light floral nose ... dry fruits ... soft apricot ... ok but boring as hell

[cask at Cumberland Arms, Newcastle] Clear, brilliantly golden beer with a thick white head. Served quite cold, but once warmed some grassy hop aroma comes out. Quite biscuity on the palate at first, before the lemon edges of the hops come out. Overall a mild flavour, but everything in a good degree of balance [12112011]

Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 1 December 2009. Clear gold. Clean. Some tangy hops but not a lot. Just a hint of citrus. Quite dry. Acceptable but could use more hops - either bittering or aromatic. Obviously went very easy on the Cascade.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Gold no head. Decent. Easy drinking golden ale. Some fullness. Decent pale malts, bit of peach/apricot fruit. OK dryness on finish.

Cask at the Pig’s Ear Fest ’09. Alround rating: Pale honey biscuity malt, a bit of wheat perhaps?, balanced by british hops. This was infact british cask beer of the fest, which at a massive score of 3.4 shows you how poor the beer quality was.

Carlisle BF. Quite an ordinary, but exceptionally pale ale, almost lageresque. Some fruitiness evident, but quite thin and could do with a bit more punch.

Cask conditioned at The Yorkshire Terrier, York. Pale straw with white head. There is a very thin body to this carring a lemon peel, citrus hop, sharp and bitter, very refreshing, but way too thin. Late acidity, it’s a bit of a strange one.
