Bottle. It pours a finger-thick beige head over a brown body. The aroma has some bread crusts, but it’s rather weak. Toffee and dried fruits too. Toffee, chocolate, bread crusts and a hint of bitterness in the flavor. Some pine cone and grass. Medium body, quite dry, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting toffee and bread crust finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but it’s a decent ale for sure. 140816

Flaske 0,5l fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Drukket i heimen. Mørk amber. Litt skum som flater ut. Prikklacing. Anonym aroma. Litt karamell. Mye kullsyre som prikker på tunga. Smaken er karamell. Avslutter syrlig. Greit matøl til spekemat. Ellers litt kjedelig.

Beige 1-finger head, few lacings, clear ruby-copper body. Nose; roasted malts, grains, hints of raisins, and metal. Tongue; dark malts, raisin-chocolate, some coffee and hops. Easy, smooth, alright. Final; smooth, malts, dry hops, plums in coffee. Nice drink! - Brown 0.5L btl abv4.2% BBfJuly2014 b@Eurospar t@home.

500ml bottle from EuroSpar Tomasjord, shared with Richard. Clear reddish-brown body colour. Low beige head. Grainy malts on the nose, mid-sweet. Taste of malts with notes of dark chocolate and coffee offset by dusty hops. Dry malt bitter endnotes. Easy to drink and foods friendly. Alright (Tromsø 18.04.2014).
