3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 chriso (7065) - London, - MAR 29, 2007
Cask (gravity dispense) at London Drinker Beer Festival 2007. The programme notes suggested that this would be a dark and malty ale but, in reality, it was a pretty standard copper bitter colour. There was a modicum of, almost smoky, malt character in the aroma. Rather restrained bitterness on the palate. A respectable, if rather soft, session bitter.

A Mes rate:
Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Amber colour. Slightly bland in the nose but there is just about some detectable malt and hops so I guess it has some balance. Strange traditional lemonade hint in the flavour. Watery mouthfeel. Wet behind the ears.
