On cask at The Paisley Beer Festival. Pours a lemon yellow colour with a fair white head. Aroma of lemon, caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

Cask@Criterion, Leicester. Golden beer with a yeasty and mildly roasted aroma. The flavour is mildly roasted and bitter. Overall a reasonable bitter beer.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Amber with a thin head. Aromas are toffee with honey and lemon. Floral with earthy apple. Flavours are woody with lemon and medicinal notes. Spritzy yeast with a dry finish. OK.

Cask Halfway house Edinburgh ... Hmm an odd one this ... Amber coloured ... Sweet fruity apple nose ... Again apples in flavour cox’s pippins ... little sherberty ... very juicy with a tart finnish ... despite apple tones it not cider like. I found this wonderfully refreshing, and distinctly unusual.

Cask gravity at Reading BF. Pale copper with thin white head. Odd, but drinkable English bitter, decent hop/malt balance. Better than average. Good session bitter.

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Dark golden blonde. Citric hoppy nose with unfortunately some tea in the flavour that is just about saved by some very sharp hops. Finish is more of the same. Drinkable but damn the hops are sharp!

Its a really nice refreshing pint, a little stronger than anticipated but to no ill affect, good colour and aroma.

Cask Stillage from the jug at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 17/01/2007 Fruity and slightly rich aroma. Golden coloured and a little hazy. Fruity with some sweetness. A little bitterness in a full malt finish.
