2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2011
Danke an den Doppelbock für das Bier. Frischer malzig getreidiger Geruch.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Borresteijn (2757) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 3, 2009
50cl Bottle from Aktiv Markt, Trier. Label just states Gemünder. Slightly hazy golden colour, dense white head. Grassy, herbal hoppy aroma, pale bready malts. Flavour is malty and grassy, light bready, good grassy and piny hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Tasty and refreshing.

from BTOI 03/2007:
Danke an den Doppelbock.
Schäumt schön auf. Schmeckt irgendwie fast wie Kölsch. Eher herb, kaum malzig.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2007
Bottled. Malty aroma/ Pale yellow color, white head, good lace. Light malty start, pretty neutral middle and a light bitter finish. Very clean and boring.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 29, 2006
(bottle, traded with DerDoppelbock) Slightly hazy, yellow colour with a medium-sized, slowly lacing white foam. Moderately sweet grainy. Cereal aroma with herbal hops. Grainy, malt-accented taste with notes of honey and a light herbal background, medium to light bodied, medium carbonation; sweet and slightly bitter malty finish with shy hoppy notes. I prefer the slimmer but better balanced Pilsener.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6730) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 27, 2006
Bright pale gold with good carbonation to medium airy white head.
Grassy, pale malts, fresh but bit restrained. Slightly sweet.
At first “dry-herb” as the Germans call it, but then with quite some sweet malt underneath. Archetypical Dortmunder to me. Warming up, some honeyish flavour, clover.
Titillating, spritzy MF, not gassy. Light bodied.
Decent Helles/Dortmunder. In comparison better than the other Gemünder. Thanks, Sebastian.
