Skunky, hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured, not much head. Malty, hoppy taste, some sort of meat (?) in it. Watery palate.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Das Bier schäumt schon mal sehr stark auf im Glas, der mittelporige Schaum verfliegt sehr schnell Geruch: Stark hopfig, leicht metallisch. Der Antrunk ist anfangs wirklich hopfig frisch. Leichte Malznoten gesellen sich hinzu, der Nachgeschmack wird von einer merkwürdigen Süße dominiert. Hier fehlt irgendwie der Pepp, aber für den Preis geht’s absolut in Ordnung. Das Gemünder Pils ist noch annehmbar! Preis-Leistung stimmt!

Danke an den Doppelbock für das Bier. Fruchtiger Geruch. Sehr süßer Antrunk, zu diesem Zeitpunkt wirkt es noch Pils-untypisch. Im Mittelteil weiterhin süßlich, allerdings abgeschwächt. Dazu durchschnittlich malzig. Herb-bitterer Nachgeschmack. Es fehlt mir ein wenig die Frische bei diesem Pils.

Dieses Pils sieht gut aus, und duftet nach Hopfen. Feines hopfenbetontes Pils, die Dosierung des Hopfens verrät, dass es nicht aus Süddeutschland kommt, fruchtig und leicht zitrusgrasig. Ich finde es sehr gelungen.

[1212-20080320] 500mL bottle. Haystack grains aroma has fish scale characteristics. Clear, yellow brown body with a quick foamy white head. Generic metallic grainy alcoholic haystack flavour. Fairly smooth medium body. Fair.

2008-03-20. Bold yellow, good sized white head. (3+) Grassy noble hops, muted notes of a malt warehouse, stale straw, haystack. Pale pilsener malt with crisp bitterness that leaves little trace of its passing once its gone. (6+) Slightly fuller than average palate adds a nice little bit of extra gravitas. Bottled. Clear golden, brief head. Grassy nose. Dry, soft and grainy. Slim with long hop bitter finish. Refreshing.

Pale yellow of color with a high nice white head. An aroma with notes of corn and hints of hops. A flavor with notes of corn, bitter notes and a boring finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight orange with a slight white head. Aroma is grainy and malty. Flavour is grainy and malty. Dry finish.

Bottle. [Courtesy of DerDoppelbock] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Clear light sparking body with a yellow color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of grain, straw, grass and some caramel. Light bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Balanced bitter and sweet flavor. Light dry and somewhat sweet finish.
