Commercial Description:
In this dark hour of hops shortages and absurdly high barley prices, we’ve stretched the boundaries of our creativity to create profound deliciousness. Employing barley and hops from the U.K., Germany and the U.S. (gasp!), we’ve gathered all our courage (and ingredients) to produce something beautifully balanced and very tasty. Necessity truly is the mother of invention… 7.2% ABV, 60 IBU

Draft at DRE. Chill hazy deep coppery toward brown color with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, hops but not heavy hops, some peppery and grapefruit notes. Taste is very malty, with the hops taking a back seat, yet the hops seemed to emerge more as it warmed, and the balance was spot on. I growlered this, and am enjoying it greatly as I type this.

Draft at the pub. light/medium orange amber color with small white head. Strong citrus hop aroma. The flavor was very hoppy with mainly grapefruit and light caramel. Strong harsh bitter finish.

On tap at the GLI. Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of floral green hopiness, citrus, and light caramel. Tastes of floral hops, grapefruit, some pine, and some caramel. Nice bitter finish.

The description from the GLI makes it sound llike the brewers recipe contains everything but the kitchen sink. I agree its a well balnced IPA that worth recreating in the future.
