COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the legendary bird who nests at sea during the winter solstice to calm the waves. Also named for the magical barley variety used in the brew, dry, roasty, coffee flavors abound in this dark stout. Low in alcohol content for multiple drinking enjoyment, it’s conditioned and poured with nitrogen for extra smoothness. The Halcyon is a harbinger of calmness, prosperity, and happiness.

Under 5%ABV beers are not typical for the General Lafayette. Just like the mild winter we are having here in Philadelphia this was a pleasant surprise. Dark foamy head matches the body. Roasted flavor compliments its dryness. Poured on a nitro tap.
