COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered and cloudy, this beer is lemon yellow in color. A twist on the refreshing wheat beers of Bavaria, banana and clove flavors imparted by the special yeast characterize this unique brew. We’ve cranked up the hops, though, using a blend of Noble German and citrus-y American varieties to crate an interesting, quenching balance. 6.1% ABV, 38 IBU

Tap @ General Lafayette. Poured a hazy dark yellow color with a small off-white head. The aroma was malty with a mildly wheaty character. Some mild banana notes were mixed in. The flavor was a mix of bananas and malt. Then came huge hops. Spices, pepper, and bitterness then started and kepted growing up through a dry finish. Medium bodied.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of banana, bready, citrus, clove, hints of caramel and touches of floral. Flavor of the standard banana, clove, wheat malt and Hefe usuals. A touch of hop flavor and bitterness but name does not match the flavors/aroma. Expected more hops to overpower the Hefe character.

Golden color with a bubbly white head. Aroma dominated by citrus, coriander, yeast, and bread. Taste is primarily of lemony-citrus, coriander, and yeast with a pleasant hop bite at the end. Pretty good and refreshing. Hops aren’t overdone like some other "non-hopped up" styles that end up messy during experimentation. Just a tasty sipper.
