COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coffee, caramel, and chocolate flavors abound in this sweet, full-bodied beauty. Balanced with a healthy dose of English hops, its conditioned and poured with nitrogen for extra smooth mouthfeel.

A little disappointed I must say. Appearance is great, dark with 1 inch tan head. Not much for aroma and flavor is mostly caramel with little choclate or coffee. Weak in body although does have a creamy, velvety texture/mouthfeel.

Deep black pour with some dark brown menisci. Aroma of chocoff, some anise, blackstrap molasses. Slightly light on the palate, with finishing roast malt, chocoff, and licorice tastes. Good.

On tap at the GLI. Poured a dark black color with a larger sized brown head. Aromas of chocolate and roasted malts. Tastes of chocolate, roasted malts and light coffee.

6.5-7% A.B.V. on this one. Roasty smooth, and coffee roast aroma. Served at near room temperature. Average for the style as not all that much flavour. Dark black a thin tan head. Low carbonation, doesn’t need much carbonation.

Poured a very dark brown/black color with a medium sized tan head and spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of cocoa and sweet roasted malt. Taste was also roasty, with some peat, anise, and burnt oats. This was thin but very creamy.

Drinkable sweet stout, I think the sweet chocolate, caramel, and coffee flavor drown out the hops. A great GLI session beer.

Very nice stout, black in color, lacy tan head, a little too light in the body, chocolate, caramel & roasted flavors, semi-bitter & dry finish, very smooth & drinkable
