General Lafayette Little Thunder

Very dark blackish brown pour with aroma of roasty coffee, malt, molasses, and fruit. The taste is heavy malty with a lot of chocoff and finishing fruit. Medium palate.

I have a soft spot for beer derived from second runnings of other beers. Little Thunder may be from second runnings of a barleywine but has full fledged alcohol content of any porter on the market. Beer itself is on the dry side, but combined with the choclate malts and nitro pour its a tastey brew.
