Golden color with a mild malty aroma. Flavor is light with some slightly sweet and bready malts, caramel, and light honey. Below average for these guys.

Draft. Clear orange/copper color with small lacing type head. Malty, biscuit, caramel aroma. The taste was the same with smooth/sweet finish. This was on the light side flavor wise but in reality it’s better then most bottled beers I’ve been drinking.
3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 michael-pollack (4880) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2006
Draught at Brewery: Slight malty bread aroma. Aroma was faint. Poured a copper/amber color. Neither any head nor any lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Nice flavor was slightly fruity and tasted of strawberries. Moderatly sweet to start, then bitter in the end. Long bitter finish. Nice balance. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Refreshing finish. An Oktoberfest? Really? Too fruity for the style, but still a very pleasant, drinkable beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 scraff (2120) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 13, 2006
Light amber, thin white head. Nose was soft with notes of toasted caramel and hints of fruitness. Flavor is one in the same. Light bodied and a bit thin, soft carbonation, light bittersweet, toasted finish. Not a good interpretation in my book anyway….
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 13, 2005
Mildly lactic, bready malt aroma. Clear amber-copper coloured body with a light ring of white head that recedes completely and rapidly. Lactic, bready sweet caramel flavour with a grainy aftertaste. Medium body is somewhat syrupy due to low carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Pours a clear copper color with no head. Aroma of toasted malt and bread. The flavor is the same, toasted malt and bread. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.

The Lure: A mostly malty mist lifts caramel malts and peachy fruitiness. This appears to be simple, but again it is well-brewed.
The Festivities: A slick mouthfeel offers nice caramel malts and quiet earthy hops. Some citrusy juiciness lightens the load, and participates in the uneventful marriage of flavors.
Transcendence: No time for thinking at such a party.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 11, 2005
Hazy light caramel colored, covered by a gentle off-white ring. Fairly hoppy nose, gaining in toasty bready Vienna malts as it warms, but also in herbal spiciness ad tartness. Light bodied, fitting carbonation. Not bad.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 RaveDigity (2) - USA - OCT 10, 2005 does not count
This is one of the best Oktoberfest beers I have had in a long time. Color was bright amber, creamy head, strong malt character and hints of spice. Very drinkable.

Had this last fall. Deepp copper color with aroma and tastes of caramel malt, slight hops, and some toffee and nuts.
