[Draft @ GLI] Poured a lightly hazy dark golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coriander, yeast, citrus fruits, toasty malt, honey, orange peel, and toffee. Taste of citrus, earthy yeast, more spices (coriander and orange peel), wheat, and a semi-sweet finish.

In short: Wild/rustic Saison meets toasted nuts in caramel. Interesting.
How: Handbottle from my buddy dickinsonbeer. Thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Cloudy light brown body topped by a medium beige head with medium retention
In long: Nose showcases wild/rustic Saison character as well as roasted nuts. Taste follows up on the same vein as the nose. This beer is mostly about a blend of roasted nuts and wild/rustic Saison yeast character. And those two flavour elements actually blends quite well. Other flavours include caramel, toasted crackers, bread crumps and quite a bit of grassy hops. The beer has an overall toasted nuts wrapped in caramel flavour. Finish is medium bitter and mildly dry. Full smooth creamy body with a medium carbonation. Nice beer. And a funny coincidence too. I got to try that beer Paul Saison because of a hand-bottle from a friend called Paul (dickinsonbeer). Funny coincidence. It would be pretty much the same funny coincidence if he makes me a hand-bottle of Thirsty Pagan Ultra Fat Ass Wheat.

Tap at Capones. Pours a deeper copper than expected, ok thinning head- slight lace. Aroma is herbal grassy a bit nutty toasty malts, grain grits, crackery, and slight phenolic spices. Flavor is a bit astringent with the grassy aspect, and spices as well, light toast, nuts, caramel, spicy phenolics, doughy yeast, dirt, earth, and lot sof drying leather notes. A bit too astringent and bitter in the end. Ok

Draft at Craft. Pours chill hazy dark straw with orange edges and off-white head. Nose is perfumy florals, clovey, yeasty spice, hopcitrus. Tastes rock sugary malty but not too sweet, with the florals, hopcitrus, spicy yeast notes, and fruit taking the forefront. Not world class, but not too bad either.
