1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Cornfield (5239) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 10, 2007
Very pale bodied with a steady stream of bubbles but no head to show for it. The aroma is some kind of sugared old vegetal thing. The flavor throws in some bad fruit, a suggestion of malt, and mineral water. Splendid, really.

I’m not sure if this beer is a somewhat new introduction to my area, or if the beer is just that bad that it’s nearly impossible to find. Pale lager with texture of carbonated soda, with about the same potency.

Well we’re slummin’ tonight!
Aroma is of vinegar and rotten apples with a wonderful touch of cooked vegetables. Flavour is sweet, but in a rotten fruit kinda way. Wow, this is BAD, one gulp and it went down the drain. Ah well, atleast i got a rating out of it.

From time to time I’ll scan the cooler at the local beer store to see if there is anything I haven’t sampled. Usually I end up with something like this and it’s partner in crime, Genesee Cream Ale. This one didn’t even merit the thought of a decent name. "Beer." Oh, really? Sez who? Looks, smells, and tastes like the worst of macrobrewery offerings. Avoid at all costs.

Rated while drinking: Pours an unattractive piss color with a notebook paper white head. Smells like stale beer in a bottle. Maybe a bottle/can return facility where no one rinses anything. Taste is pretty vile as well. Maybe rain water that ran through a pile of cow feed. Then led into some sort of sewage duct. Watery palate until the harsh feel of diluted garbage water burns your throat. Overall it’s High Falls and Genesee; so it’s local. Otherwise it makes me feel pukey inside.
