Pours light yellow...not much flavor or aroma. Genesee always tastes metallic to me, and the afertaste is horrible.

Continuation of west ny cheap beer. Yellow fizz appearance, no nose or flavor profile besides corn. Enough bitterness. Slight metallic element. Slightly more body than genny light. Next!

...better than you’d expect for under $7 a 12pack. Has some maltiness, not toooo watery. Corn and grains, but it’s still better than most popular shits like natty, bud light(pukes) and the like. One of the best cheap-o beers out there.

A local "favorite"......very little flavor, nothing about this stands out and it is one of the cheapest beers out there in Western New York......so if you want a cheap "buzz" this is your beer......if you want a flavorful, complex beer......look elsewhere.

GTAEgeek (521) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 7, 2012
24 oz. can. Pours pale yellow, with a large, white head. The aroma is corn, rice, and some light floral hops. The flavor is very sweet, and a little bitter. The palate is light, with lots of carbonation and a sticky, bitter finish. Overall, this is a terrible beer. The flavor is sweet and weak, but the aftertaste is long and awful.

Pours a clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation, but head dissipates quickly. Aroma is of any other cheap beer, malty and sweet. Taste is also the same, outstandingly crappy. Party beer if you’re not looking to spend a whole lot.

FURLYSURIOUS (199) - Orono, Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2012
Poured extremely vigorously into a snifter, achieving a finger of white head, zero beading. Smells like a grain belt- corn, lots of corn, a bit of sugar, nothing exciting at all. Tastes like some beer that someone forgot about back in July. I wouldn’t offer this beer to my worst enemy... seriously. This sucks. All beer biases aside this one tastes like I shouldn’t have tasted it.

Metalchopz (1429) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2012
Originally rated May 2005. At first pour, the carbonation was crazy and full of big bubbles... looking like ginger ale. After breathing a bit, it calmed down. Golden in colour with decent head and lace. Smells like sweet malt. Clean and creamy mouthfeel. The taste got a little bit better as the brew warmed up... and breathed.

24oz can: light yellow, fizzy and transparent. Musty stale skunky nose with some husky corn notes. Big chewy husk and corn derived ethanol taste with a burnt maltiness in the finish. Bland AND offensive.
