Genesee Beer is a light golden or straw colored lager that is quite carbonated. It has a white head that makes a very brief appearance and then vanishes. The aroma is pretty much just fusel oil. It is thin and watery with a crisp finish. The flavor is fusel oil and cardboard. It’s nasty. There is something slightly sweet and fruity at the end, but the lingering aftertaste is of poison. Have mercy!

Found this in a gas station took me back to my high school days I wonder what I was thinking back then. Still taste the same smells of rubbing alcohol Fairly sweet flavor, watery, some cereal notes, nothing in the hops department, really not good at all. What am I going to do with the rest of this sixer?

355 ml can from the LCBO breakers bin. pours golden with a nice white head. the pour and look in the glass is by far the best thing about this brew. aromas were stale and consisted of cardboard and rice. flavours were similar but slightly improved as it warmed which kept this out of the dreaded 1/10 for flavour catagory. im glad i picked this up as a single cause i never wanna drink it again.

12oz can. Mild alcohol smell after pouring into a glass. Has a big head that was quick to dissipate. Not a overwhelming smell or anything spectacular, but certainly not bad. Fairly gold in appearance, with white head. Considering this is one of my Dad’s favorite beer (oddly enough) he gets it shipped to Washington State. Must remind him of his childhood where he grew up here in NY. I was expecting a lot from the taste, and it delivered a good flavor for about a dollar a beer. Not bad, but not my favorite of the cheaper beers.

Can from the LCBO. Light golden with a large white head and a lot of carbonation. Grainy aroma, fairly sweet with some slight grassy hops. Thin, crisp body. Flavour is surprisingly not that bad - not GREAT, mind you, but inoffensive and even somewhat refreshing. Hell, there’s even something resembling hops in the finish. Just don’t let it warm up too much, as it gets a bit corny. Still, I’ve had much worse than this.
