Not a conventional bock in my opinion. But this was actually not all that bad.

from notes: a very light bock beer from my local crappy brewery. No hops detected. Malty, biscuit. Bready. Average. Scroll past.

12oz green "special edition" can. Clear copper color. Big foamy khaki head. More crisp carbonation. Kinda watered down tasting malt aroma, good lace. Plain, sort of savory taste. Not awful. Just pretty boring. 12oz is 3x more than I care to drink of this.

12 oz can purchased at Bark’s Beer Cave in Plattsburgh, NY. Initially metallic aroma, which becomes a little sweeter and fruitier. Pretty bock-like. Transparent ruddy-copper body with a small, quickly dissipating head. This starts pretty bland, with primarily carbonation present. Some caramel and metallic flavors come through in the middle. Some vegetal notes later along with some fusels. Not so great.

Caramel pour with little to no head. Aroma is cardboard and malt. Flavor is similar, reminds me of a michelob amber bock. Light body, nothing special.

Can. Really disappointed with this one. Started off great. Nice pretty ruby amber color. Aroma smelled like the can. Tasted like a cross between PBR and Killians. Not good.

Light lager aroma. Light brown color. Some malt, drinkable enough as a session beer, not very bocky.

Unknown Date: Genesee Bock Beer pours a clear amber color with a bubbly beige head that dissipates quickly. There really isn’t much of an aroma. The flavor is grainy with a sweet corn character and come really soft hops. The body of this beer is medium-light and it has a bit too much carbonation. Overall this is very much like the regular Genesee only darker in color. Definitely nothing to write home about and one can per lifetime is probably enough for me!
12 fl. oz. can from Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Rating #30 for this beer...

Aroma is weakish lager malt. A hint of caramel sweetness, but mostly adjunct business. Not offensive, not at all pleasant.
Appears honey orange, red or light brown, depending on light. No head retention or lace.
Flavor: along with the wheat, lagery malt, there is a hint of sweet caramel and mild butterscotch. Cigarette ashes. Some cooked vegetables. Sweet-ish, with a brown sugary-heavy finish.
Smooth and milky feel, with an ashy finish. Exacerbates the cloyingness. Like a lager with caramel extract added. Ashy and too sweet by half. A weak offering.
