COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavor of a fine ale and the smoothness of a premium lager.

Can. Pours a transparent gold with lots of carbonation and a fairly good sized head. Aromas are a mediocre mix of creamed corn, apple juice and metal with a little bit of a garbage stench. Flavor is OK... mostly apple juice and creamed corn. That said, it doesn’t seem to pick up the metal or landfill much in the flavor. It’s smooth and kind of creamy with a bit of sweetness to it and not much else going on.

I didn’t find this to be a swill at all. So-so head, but colour was a decent amber and aroma was acceptable. I really liked the taste, smooth and a little bit sweet. Not all that creamy, but still enjoyable.

Can. Pours like a pale lager but with a fairly rocky, thick, white head- like they say: "Cream ale, craft beer for non-craft beer drinkers." Fruity, pineapple, sugary aroma with some grass. Taste is white sugar, pineapple, grassy hops. Creamy on the palate. Not great but hey, this is not that bad at all when you discover that it is cheaper than Natti Light!

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2010 Clear as day, straw yellow. Just a smidge of white head that actually does the favor of sticks around. Just north of a light lager. Again, a lager-ish smell but with a decent pilsnerish hop. Not horrible. The subpar malt is straight adjunct. But the hops is not too bad. For what it is, it’s top of the line. But still not great. A decent creamy body for a light beer. Make sure you drink this cold. It would be decent if it were just a light lager, but not quite average.

Ok - not really bad. There is some light crispness. Clean palate. Bland finish, but not offensive.

Bottle from Utobeer, 29th July 09. Yellowy gold with a thin head. Grassy aroma and not very pleasant taste, not helped by an odd, slightly sticky palate. Comments from my fellow drinkers included "Hard work", "Tastes of Elastoplast" and "Makes water taste good".

Pale gold color, white head. The aroma is like a pale lager, grassy, malty, sweet. The flavor is malts, grass, like a pale lager, maybe sweeter. The finish is unremarkable, very low in hops, and bitterness. In fact not much on the finish at all. Ok for what it is, and definitely an economical way to get wasted.

Bottled. An anaemic gold coloured beer with a thin whitish head. The aroma is initially grassy but then there’s a floral and perfumed feel. The taste is also perfumed and grassy. A fairly malty lager feel but there’s a creaminess throughout to give a little substance.
