COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavor of a fine ale and the smoothness of a premium lager.

Can of the piss pale cream ale. Just a step above your average american pale lager. A note of hops, a bit creamy but nothing to enjoy here.

Out of a bottle. Smells faintly of grassy hops. Taste is light and flavorless for the most part. Definately tastes better out of a bottle but still not great.

I loved Genny Ice, so I was intrigued to try Genny Cream. Good creamy frothy taste and goes down smooth. Genny is Good!

This was a terrible beer. Like a glorified weak, pale, macro lager. Bottle... Poured golden with a white head the dissipated immediately. Aroma was the best thing going for it, vanilla sweet and some malt. Over carbonated and not much flavor. Cracker malt flavors and a dry finish.

Sweeter and maltyer than most american standards. A slight hops nose but lacking hops in the flavor. My dad used to drink this stuff by the case, so I’d thought I’d give it a try. Could have been worse.

I have a vague memory of Genny Cream being acceptable given the low price when I first had it in Delaware, but I recently bought it in Kansas City, MO, and it’s moderately skunked. I will say the mouthfeel is one of the smoothest I’ve had in a long time. This beer’s probably an excellent choice in it’s local market (like Yuengling in Philly or Blvd Wheat in KC), but it it’s had to travel far, there’s probably a better choice. Paid $5 & change for a six-pack.

12 oz can poured into pint glass. Fizzy yellowish gold in color, with medium white head. Smell of alcohol and a slight hoppy note. Flavor is a little lacking for a cream ale, but not horrible considering the price range this beer competes in. Easy to drink with a nice carbonation. Overall I would put it right in the middle of the road at 10 of 20.

Very different from the other Cream Ales I have had. More like a Pale Ale. grainy and watery. not a bad beer but not the best.
