3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 rampmaster (643) - Alden, New York, USA - AUG 26, 2008
Presentation: It was poured from a 12oz. can into a pint glass.
Appearance: It had a light golden yellow color with visible carbonation and an average size white fluffy head. The head faded as I drank and left some spotty lace that slides down the sides of the glass.
Smell: The aroma is full of sweet grain and corn adjuncts. There are some light hints of grassy hops as well.
Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor is mostly sweet grain with a heavy corn flake cereal character. The hops are mild in flavor but offer more in the way of bitterness to the mix. On the tongue there is a slick creamy texture with some fizzy carbonation inside its light to medium body.
Notes: If retro beer is your thing, Genesee Cream Ale could be the next Pabst Blue Ribbon.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 emccaff (1) - Harmony Corners, New York, USA - AUG 4, 2008 does not count
Clear, light gold with a white head that fades quickly. Nice light, grainy nose with not much in the way of hops but a lot better than bud, miller, et. al. Very crisp, but sweet ,taste. As a side note...the thing that makes me rate this brew so highly is it’s afinity with Bourbon. Try it with your favorite as a chaser and you’ll see. It must be all the corn used in the brew.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 zombywoof (418) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - JUL 22, 2008
This is supposed to be an ale? Coulda fooled me-seems like a cheap pale lager. Grainey malt and next to non-existent hops. Unpleasant metallic aftertaste. We’re firmly ensconced in Budweiser territory here-that’s right you heard me- ENSCONCED....BUDWEISER....DRAIN POUR.

Draft at Hopcat. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Lawnmower beer.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 zappafan99 (463) - ASCENSION ISLAND - JUL 19, 2008
Taste 7/8 Bottle (7/8). Looks: Gold / white thin head. Aroma: Very mild scents. Just basics, yeast and caramel sweetness. Taste: Effervescent and hops at first, then they disappear quickly. Crisp and bland. More hops than I expected and I never recognized the malt. Yeast finish.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 sleepylopes (318) - New York, USA - JUL 16, 2008
grain drip and soda water light with some white bubbling. Not off in flavor but there is not to much flavor to be off. The beer is cheap and not as bad as I remembered. Smooth sweet water, I think i will just go and have a piss.
