COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavor of a fine ale and the smoothness of a premium lager.

Pours golden with small white film for head. Has a buttery malt scent with a touch of honey. Taste has a firm, but light malt, almost buttery with a subtlle sweetness in the background (butterscotch). Light finish. Clean but simple.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2009 GABF 2006. I’m almost embarrassed to admit I drank this at GABF, but it is another cream ale... Blond with a small bubbly white head. Nose is grainy and malty with some light corn notes. Taste is sweet malts, light corn syrup and cream corn notes. Light grain or cereal as well. Body is light and slightly over-carbonated. Ends with more sweet malts, corny notes and grains. Not that good, though we did pick up some cool merch from the Genesee table. And, like I said, it is another Cream Ale.

Wow, I have to say I was thoroughly dissapointed with this beer. I drank a pint of Great Divide Hercules Double IPA before drinking this, the Hercules is rated a 99 and I saw the crap saying this beer had won awards at the GABF, they must not have been drinking the same beer. Watered down, far from flavourful, light on the palate. Utterly dissapointing. Sadly I have 5 more of these left in my fridge.

What is this? NOT a cream ale, for sure. Just a thin, crappy beer that I’ll have to give my brother a hard time for for telling me it was good. Liar!

Well, it definetely isnt the worst swill I have ever had. It is like swill with a hint of creaminess to offset the bitter burnt vegetable flavors. Tastes pretty good after drunkeness has allready been reached, but this is not a good way to start the night. Overall, not horrible.

This is what a Vanilla Cream Michelob Light would taste like, if there was such a thing. I was not impressed at all, but what do you expect for a six-pack under six dollars?

From the bottle it looks and sounds good. Even has a picture of a medalion and says something about an award. But this beer is awful. Very thin with a generic american watered down taste. no hint of cream. i couldnt finish it since i knew i would have to live with that sticky choking aftertaste.

This is a fun malty beverage. Could be better, but it gets a sentimental nod for its herbal and grainy quality. There have been times when I’m out west, I’m just looking for a Cre-male. Really good for the price.
