2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 twindadplus2 (504) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 26, 2006
Bottle. Clear golden yellow with a quick fizzy head. Herbal grain aroma with a malty background. Flavor is sweet grain, malt and a slowly building hops bite. Smooth with more body than I expected and surprisingly good, especially for the price.

Straw colored with a malty herbal aroma. I’m really not gonna go in depth with this , am I ? It’s utterly disgusting with malted barnyard flavors. Inferior ! I actually think I’d rather drink a Coors light.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 beerbomb (173) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 21, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2006 Pours yellow with bubbly head. Looks like a US macro (sort of is) Aroma is weak sweet malt, sweet corn/rice, and a slight twinge of hops. Flavor is weak but no doubt ’smooth and creamy’ malt is slightly musty and metallic but also very sweet and bready-not terrible. Overall, considering price, this is a most decent bargain. If in the market for a 30 pk, Id gladly pick this up for $12 as opposed to a macro for $18.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2007 Purchased at JR’s beer warehouse in rochester. On sale, after rebate cost was 24 cents 12 oz can. Decent beer for the price, I wish it cost this much all the time and I’d buy it. It is your typical pale yellow american brew with a little more smoothness than usual. Even tho it has a rather odd initial flavor it is short and the finish has no bitter aftertaste. Poured clear in my three stooges glass. In the old days, I think this stuff was brewed in Buffalo and tasted a little better as I recall.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 henry3r (586) - Wichita, Kansas, USA - AUG 7, 2006
The 12 ounce bottle poured a crystal clear, golden colored beverage with a small white fizzy head that was mostly diminishing and left some lacing on the glass. There were faint notes of malt mingled with sweet corn that and a hint of hops. The body was light with lively carbonation and a slightly smooth texture. The flavor started off slightly on the bitter side with faint notes of corn and bread. The bitterness built gradually through the medium finish. I would describe this beer as light and smooth.
2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pstorvik (60) - Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA - JUN 16, 2006
12 oz bottle. Pours light gold with moderate fairly rapidly disappearing head leaving a ring and some slight lacing. Not much aroma to speak of. Flavor has some sweet malt and a vague fruitiness I attribute to the fact that this is top-fermented. Better body than I expected. Vague hop presence in aftertaste along with some graininess but pretty clean finish. Better than I expected and a decent choice to pick up a 6er and drink on a hot afternoon.

Can. Probably the best Genny beer. Pours yellow\gold with a dcent white head. Aroma of sweet malts, grain, not offensive. Flavor is smooth, sweet, grain, malty, good body, i enjoyed this brew, but it was nothing to brag about.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 thehinge (253) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - MAY 20, 2006
Lively golden pour with a small white head that quickly disappears. No lacing to speak of. Been a while since I had this, not distributed in Delaware anymore.
It wasn’t anything special, that’s for sure.
Skunky aroma that isn’t incredibly off-putting. Taste is really just of a slightly sour malt...nothing else. This should be classified as a lager, I think. If you want a decent, dirt cheap beer....this could be the ticket.
