Genesee Cream Ale may be the Holy Grail of cheap-ass beer. Actually has some ale-like sweetness and its low carbonation gives it a creamy mouthfeel. Light but pleasant flavor, similar to some of the better American-style lagers. Silky smooth finish with some lingering sweetness.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2011 Drank this and Little Kings in high school. Both came in 6 oz bottles. This was a watered down version of Little Kings which has a Canadian smell and taste to it. That stuff was bad but it was better than this which has no flavor or taste.

This was a great beer to drink when I was inhigh school...it went down somooth and easy, almost sweet, and you could pound a casse to yourself easy and feel good the next day...for some reason I can't stand the shit anymore, must have over-indulged back then, but it was a great time.

One time when I was younger I drank the water that collected at the bottom of a potted plant. This brought back memories.

A shadow of its former self. Brewed by Genesee Brewing Co. in the 80's and now by High Falls Brewery. It did have a nice body and malty taste but now seems to be flavoured water ( And not such a great flavour at that)

This beer is kinda sickening. This isn’t like any ale I’ve had before. They should change the name to "Genesee Cream Swill"! I will never buy this again, unless the only other choice is Buttweiser!

This tastes fine, but its way too syrupy to get drunk off of, because its hard to get it down fast. Wouldnt buy again.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2010 Rerate Not sure what I was thinking earlier on - metallic aroma dn flavor, dull flavor, thin mouthfeel and light head and medium light golden pour. Good bargain though at $6.99 a twelverOriginal 3.3 Excellent for the price ($3.49 for a six). Fresh, malty aroma - nice thick, creamy white head with a fair amount of lace. Full-bodied malty flavor with a hint of sweetness - honey perhaps? Bitters just a tad near the end - but what do you expect for sixty cents a bottle!.
