This tastes fine, but its way too syrupy to get drunk off of, because its hard to get it down fast. Wouldnt buy again.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2010 Rerate Not sure what I was thinking earlier on - metallic aroma dn flavor, dull flavor, thin mouthfeel and light head and medium light golden pour. Good bargain though at $6.99 a twelverOriginal 3.3 Excellent for the price ($3.49 for a six). Fresh, malty aroma - nice thick, creamy white head with a fair amount of lace. Full-bodied malty flavor with a hint of sweetness - honey perhaps? Bitters just a tad near the end - but what do you expect for sixty cents a bottle!.

This stuff really isn’t very good. It’s not terrible, but it has that distinct macrobrewery taste. Bland, unassertive, and pretty much built for high school keggers in the woods. I even drank it out of a glass and everything, hoping it would be good. I had just read the Connoisseurs Guide to Beer, by James Robertson, who said it was good. Must have been a different world back in 1984.

I have friends in New York State who savor this beverage. Though not as defensive about it as our local rednecks, it is impolite to speak in a negative tone concerning it. There are nasty beers and there are nasty beers. This shit has absolutely no redeeming qualities. It has a sort of metalic aftertaste somewhat mellowed by the flavor of warm spit. Speaking of warm, DRINK ONLY ICE COLD OR DIE. What the Hell is the creme made of? What is it supposed to taste like? Nobody enjoys
inebriation more than I, but when offered a Genesee Creme Ale, I opt out thank you.

This actually isn’t too bad. Good creamy taste and goes down smooth.
