This is my favorite, it has a taste that other beer have. It is light, but at the same time very tasty. It has a great head. Serve ice cold, to me is the they have to offer

24 oz can, for BJCP study group, 4oz pour into tasting glass

Aroma: moderate to strong sweet corn, with spicy hops, very light malt

Appearance: Very pale yellow, crystal/briallant, minimal white head with no retention

Taste: moderate corn, low hop bitterness, light DMS within style, faint sweetness

Mouthfeel: light and crisp, low to medium body, smooth, medium carbonation, very slight carbonic bite

Overall: Clean beer with slightly more flavor than American Lager (Bud), easy to drink and well attenuated, but not very satisfying.

Aroma is weak and a bit basement-like. Appearance is clear, pale gold with fair, white head and champagne-like bubbles. Taste is light and pretty weak. Body is light with thin texture and unremarkable finish. This will forever remind me of college so gets some added boost for nostalgia but is best appreciated once every few years such as at a reunion.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass in Savannah, GA (I know, odd). Aroma- Maybe grass and some malt, not much here. Appearance-A pale yellow (like Coors Light), little head. Taste- Definitely a regional macro here. I assume this would be real good around a bonfire. Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation, it does have a creamy feel to it. Overall- I ordered this off of the beer list under "your Daddy’s beers" it also had Dixie, Lonestar and Iron City listed. It was a nice throw back to my teen age years.

Taste thanks to Damon. Pours a very pale golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aromas of corn. Some metallic notes. Taste is barely there. Corn sweetness. Tons of carbonation. Not too terrible.

Finally have this at my local beer store! Knocking off the cream ale category once and for all. Not expecting much, but here goes: generic corn/grain beer smell with some cream. Tastes generic beer with some cream. Slightly acid finish. Got a sixer. I can see chugging a few on Super Bowl day. Drinkable. Don’t feel a need to ever get it again, though.

I believe the bottle i purchased was old because when I poured this beer it was completely flat with no head even with an aggressive pour. I would like to try this beer again with a better bottle. The beer is a clear straw yellow color. The aroma is corn and not much else to it outside of some sweetness and bread. The taste seemed off but once again since I believe my bottle was old. I pick up some sweetness and white bread. I also get some very mild hops on the back end. Even with an old bottle this beer was quite drinkable and I would probably rate much higher with a fresh bottle.

Pour is slightly flat. Taste is corn and sugar with a bitter, hoppy finish. Slightly below average.

Draft at brew house - at the source. To develop the true cream ale character, cases should be piled in garage and left to age for several years. Then the cases should be stolen and drunk warm by suburban teenagers. Other than that, its just not worth drinking.

Canned November 3, 2014.
Glass: Otter Creek can glass.
Appearance: A massive foamy white head erupts and clings to the glass. The body is pale golden and clear.
Aroma: The aroma is a bit sweet, creamed corn esque. Nothing offensive, perhaps even a dash of banana.
Taste: Mildly sweet with a creamer like presence. I actually sort of enjoy it. There’s a hint of malty sweetness with a dash of banana noted on the finish. It reminds me a little of drinking a cream soda.
Palate: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: This is $0.50 a can, how can I complain? I actually prefer it to the mass adjunct lagers, it has a bit more character to it.
