Pours a clear straw color with a one finger head. Aroma will remind you a little of a lager, just not as strong. As with the aroma, the taste will remind you of a lager but smoother and blander. Goes down very easy. I had no problem finishing the 24 oz. good for what it is, easy drinking, cheap beer. I didn’t mind drinking it one bit.

I know this beer doesn’t get the big high ratings of the hugely-hopped IPAs etc., but I gotta tell ya, I just finished an ice cold 16-ounce can of Genny Cream Ale, sitting in the shade after cutting the grass on a hot humid day and boy, was it refreshing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It had a light golden yellow color with visible carbonation and an average size white fluffy head. The head faded as I drank and left some spotty lace that slides down the sides of the glass. The aroma is full of sweet grain and corn adjuncts. There are some light hints of grassy hops as well. Its flavor is mostly sweet grain with a heavy corn flake cereal character. The hops are mild in flavor but offer more in the way of bitterness to the mix. On the tongue there is a slick creamy texture with some fizzy carbonation inside its light to medium body.

Never had this not out of the can so who knows on the appearance and aroma. Surprisingly clean and traditional flavor for a macro, none of the stale/cardboard flavors you frequently get. Instead you get sweet honeyed corn, white bread, and a hint of spicy European hop. Soft and smooth mouthfeel. Decent, one of the better cheap beers out there.

Not very special but drinkable while camping. Creamy indeed, and has an enjoyable level too.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
BA transfer -
poured from bottle into into chilled pint glass
Appearance - A pale straw color with a head that quickly faded.
Smell - A bit of sweetness with a little bit of hoppiness later on detected.
Taste - Fairly sweet, but not in a sickeningly way. corm up front, followed by some honey and hop tastes later.
Mouthfeel - Average mouthfeel. Good level of carbonation and a very average body for the style. A bit better then the average.
Overall - For its price and style a good brew. Nothing working pining over, but a good session beer for those of us without disposable income.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear gold with a half finger of quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of corn, grains and something a little skunky. Taste is medium sweet. Mostly corn and cotton candy. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Not bad.

I really have nothing to complain about since I drank like six of these cans at $2.50 a pop. I didn’t get much more than a $2.50 malted barley experience but it was better than the PBR cans at the same price. Cheers to cheap beers.
