3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Good example of what a traditional English ale yeast can provide in the way of fruits (currants, especially) in a light bodied, otherwise fairly neutral substrate. Some malt in aroma and taste, with hops supporting both. Sometimes a blast of DMS, at other times a more pleasant whiff. Highly drinkable, but with more character than most other fizzy mass-market beers. Seems to be at its best a little warmer than ice-cold. Don’t sell this beer short.

Pour is slightly flat. Taste is corn and sugar with a bitter, hoppy finish. Slightly below average.

Draft at brew house - at the source. To develop the true cream ale character, cases should be piled in garage and left to age for several years. Then the cases should be stolen and drunk warm by suburban teenagers. Other than that, its just not worth drinking.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Canned November 3, 2014.
Glass: Otter Creek can glass.
Appearance: A massive foamy white head erupts and clings to the glass. The body is pale golden and clear.
Aroma: The aroma is a bit sweet, creamed corn esque. Nothing offensive, perhaps even a dash of banana.
Taste: Mildly sweet with a creamer like presence. I actually sort of enjoy it. There’s a hint of malty sweetness with a dash of banana noted on the finish. It reminds me a little of drinking a cream soda.
Palate: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: This is $0.50 a can, how can I complain? I actually prefer it to the mass adjunct lagers, it has a bit more character to it.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - Pours light golden with a smallish macro head. Sweet malt aroma. Some grassy notes and sweetness. Quaffable, better than your average macro.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Poured from can to pint glass. Thin white head dissipated quickly. Rice aroma. No malt or hop notes in the aroma or flavor. Tastes like a American pilsner. Not creamy either.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz can, poured into a shaker pint at approximately 40 degrees F.
A: Pours a crystalline-clear pale yellow with a two-finger white head that quickly vanishes. Looks like watered-down apple cider in the glass. Bubbles stream from the bottom relentlessly.
S: No real aroma to speak of, just some vague grain malt and grassy-fruity hop odors.
T: See the "Smell" section above. A mouthful of of slightly-hopped grains, with vague hints of grass and apple.
M: Actually slightly creamy, with lively carbonation.
O: Not a bad go for a regional macro adjunct, especially for the price point of about $0.50 per 12 oz can. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, this is a fantastic beer to bring to a party, music festival, or similar event. If you’re looking for an amazing beer experience, then by all means, pass on by. For what it is, however, this is decent.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sweet aroma of fruit. No malt or hop aroma. Nice color, no flaws there. Taste is sweet graininess with a hint of neutral noble hop flavor. Maybe hallertau? Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Highly carbonated. Any easy drinker - better than the BMC crowd.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
"light hop profile with a fairly unique malt and cream aspect, this is better than your average swill, but not as good as many micros (or even a few macros) out there. ok to take a freebee, but to buy it?"

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint can into pils glass, clear yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma of pale malt sweetness, metallic, corn and fainest fruitiness. Taste adds notes of candy corn, white bread, green apple, some graininess and faint balanced earthy hop bitterness. Light body, heavy carbonation, crisp with clean sweet finish. Alright enough and wouldn’t turn a free one down, but not something to seek.
