COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Kölsch style beer offers the craft beer experience for the masses! The Kölsch style is popular for its reputation as the palest varietal of craft beer. Geneva Lake measures in at 21 miles around and 2.6 miles at its widest point; making it the second largest lake in Wisconsin. If you are looking for something a little ’slimmer’; our Kolsch is named for the narrowest part of the lake measuring in at .5 miles across. When you are in the mood for something light but packed with flavor; this is the beer for you.

It’s a Kolsch, so it’s not a ton of stuff there, but it’s delicious and really refreshing. It really does have great character and "beer" flavor for a light, crisp beer. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something that won’t weigh you down but has good flavor.

22oz bottle 7/31/14 (Woodmans Waukesha)- Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of grains, hay, and malt. Taste of hops, grains, and malt. This light bodied brew is not bad but not my cup of tea.

Bomber. Poured straw golden with a short white head. The aroma picked up honey and bready malts with touches of lemon and grass around.. aiight. The flavor found more honey with a touch of bread at the core.. grassy, peppery, and light lemon bitterness around.. finished a touch grainy, but refreshing. Light-bodied with a good feel on the palate.. very drinkable and quasi-refreshing.

Aroma is spices, pale malts and very slightly perfumed. The flavor is relatively thick pale malts, light fruit, a low undercurrent of citrus hops and a mildly tart/clean finish.

Bottle. It is a decent Koelsch, much more bitter than the standard and much more of an alcoholic punch. Finishes a bit too sweet but it isn’t bad.

On tap at the Geneva Lake tasting room. Straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of pale malt, caramel, bready malts and a hint of corn. Taste is mild with light fruit, sweet malt, yeast and a semi-astringent finish.

Growler from the brewery in Lake Geneva. Pours a bright yellow with white head. Crisp sweet mild flavor...decent body and malty edge...very good for a mild beer.
