As Mountain Brew Beer Ice, purchased at Stewart’s - Saranac Lake, NY. Drank at Hobofest 2011. Fusely corn fun. Thank god it’s cold, it tastes like wet cold stale cornbread. Seltzer like. Messy. Reminds me why I drink the good stuff.

Less than $5 a six pack for 16 oz. cans at the local convenience store--how could I go wrong? Genesee Ice Beer is a corny beer with hints of dead mouse and Elmer’s glue. It has an "interesting" oily palate that sticks to the tongue. This is something to be enjoyed while preparing to commit arson or perhaps acts of public indecency. If this sounds like you, then drink this beer. Otherwise, you’ve been warned.

From a can poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a quick finish.

A 24oz can compliments of cheapdark. Thanks…love the size of this can. I also got the black and silver label. I do love the logo in the picture better. Taste, is average of a cheap pale larger. I love the genny and genny light, so this one was what I expected. It was a good tasting beer after teaching a night class at a local college. You can’t beat the price or even taste. There is no balance with this brew, just 5.5% cheap larger coming at you in a 24oz can. How could you beat that?

Painful...no aroma to speak and even less flavor. Served it’s purpose for a broke gentleman on a hot day. Can’t imagine i would have another one of these so called brews.

24 oz. can. Pours clear yellow gold with a white head. Grainy corny straw like aroma. Dirty corny flavor. Kind of gross. Still drinkable I guess. And by drinkable, I mean I’m cheap as shit so I sucked it up and drank my 99 cent 24 oz. beer.

Can from Stewart’s, labeled "Mountain Brew Beer Ice." Pours clear dark gold with a small white head. Aromas of corn, urine, and stale malt. The flavor is similar, with stale malt, corn, and sour alcohol. Not as bad as expected, but not good. [644]

16 oz. tallboy can from Tmoney99. Pours a clear light golden color with a large white head. The aroma is sweet corn and grains with a slight metallic note. The flavor is less sweet than the nose would indicate, with more of a grainy bread character instead. This is not great by any means, but it’s not offensive either. I would have to say slightly (very slightly) better than expected.
