24 oz can out of a paper bag, enjoyed in my hotel room outside the ever cosmopolitian Seneca Falls. The can is shiny with a black head billowing out of the liqour store special brown paper bag. Nose is full of creamed corn aroma. Taste follows the creamed corn lineage with the additions of alchohol and metal. Bitterness balances. Body is a bit thin, but not watery. Not as aweful as expected.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a golden yellow color with a one finger white foamy to bubbly sort of white head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. The lacing was somewhat there as it came across in a few and far between sort of messy speckled bubbly way.
The smell had some sweet grainy cereal to corn notes.
The taste was mainly the same thing.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a long sweet corn aftertaste and finish.
Overall, just an okay beer. Honestly, it would probably be a decent budget beer if needed.

Poured from can into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a nice golden color with a big white head. The head has decent retention lasting for about 5 min. It eventually fades to leave a decent level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a corn and caramel smell. Overall it is on the sweeter side.
Taste – The taste begins with some corn sweetness and a bready taste. As it moves on the sweetness fades a bit toward the middle. While the sweet fades, it is only temporary and in the end the corn sweetness returns to leave a sweet bready and corn flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium side in terms of creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Good for the style, as it makes it very easy to drink as it flows through the mouth.
Overall – While it is mostly of sweeter corn and some notes of bread and not super flavorful, it is by no way offensive and is very easy to drink. For 24 oz at only $1.29 it’s not too shabby and makes for a good tailgating brew.

Totally gold. Boring. Rice and a touch of melon. Sweet, touch of vanilla. Meh

Can (Old Notes)-Pours a medium golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn and sweetness. Taste of the same. Another light bodied brew jumping on the ice wagon.

Pours a decent golden from the big can. The aroma and taste are garbage. This is a shitty beer.

24 oz can, served ICE COLD, natch. Nose sweet and faded, lightly malty with light hints of corn. Pours clear orange-golden, much richer and oranger than regular Genny, with a rocky white head. Looks good! Taste is sweet and lightly malty, very one-dimensional, no hops or bitterness, but a soft medium body and only a little metal coming mainly in the finish. Slight corn, no breadiness, and a touch dirty, but there is individual character here to set it a notch above the average malt liquor.

Fr0m a tall can this p0ured a deep yell0w b0dy with extremely lively bubbling that fed a 0fty head that c0llapsed very sl0wly. The ar0ma had a vague light sweetness, and little else. Quite oily 0n the t0ngue. It tasted 0f a metallic sweetness with a metallic bitterness and a mildly sweet aftertaste. Gassy. This pairs well with sh0ts 0f cheap B0urb0n.

First of all the price point of the Genesee beers very low end so the beer should not be compared to a micro brew. Like all Genesee beers this has a solid flavor, not unlike a Schlitz, PBR. It has no real aroma and I can’t tell what color it is in my Rose Bowl plastic cup, but it tastes OK cold and over all I would buy it again. It goes down good when I am thirsty.

For some reason, I have a tendency at the end of the year to sample something that I have very, very low expectations for. When I spied this at the cooler of a gas station, I thought it may fit the bill nicely. 24 oz. can of blah is what I expected. Happy to say that this delivered on many of my expectations! Poured a medium to slightly deep gold - the color you usually find in a very old, light struck light lager. But this was canned. Fizzy head died immediately. My confidence in the expected outcome of the purchase continued to grow as I sniffed the beer - corn and hay. Flavor was corny malts, a bit sweet, and just the faintest hop bitterness to balance things out. Have to say that this was not atrocious. I have had far, far worse beers, and this did at least have some character. But the character present was rather dubious.

Beautiful looking pour in my Founders snifter. Splashy lace. Really sweet grain, honey, corn. Taste is almost bad meaty/garbage like, really bizarre. The sweetness is not like the nose. This is pretty nasty.
