355ml can. Golden, white foamy head, lots of carbonation. Corn/vegetable nose. Sweet corny taste battles club soda and alcohol.

Pour from a 24 oz can. Medium amber brew iwth sudsy off white head. Aroma of corn with vegtal overtones. Taste follows aroma - sweet corn / grain with a sweet vegetal skanky finish. Sweet all around, and not in a good way.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2012 99c for a 24oz. Yellow rich swilly appearance. Aroma is like peanut shells, fingernail polish remover and urine. Rough bitter palate. Tastes like the machinery it was processed within, or the nether regions of a robotic skunk. Part of me thinks that this is the first batch of beer they make after cleaning everything.. thus resulting in mega unintended adjunct. Not recommended in the slightest.

5/3/12. "Ice" beer that’s only 5.5%? Well, here we go. 24oz can... why did I buy this? Plain creamy corn aroma with touches of grain. Unoffensive but plain flavor with some corn, sweet apples, and more cream. Goes down pretty decent for an ice beer, but then again, it’s pretty low ABV, so it’s more of a pale lager, like the style says above. Meh.

Can shared by maniac at Slutfest 3, Richmond, VA, 4/21/12. Pours a clear golden color with a thin frothy tan head. Aroma of grain, corn, grass and fusel alcohols. The taste is grass, grain and corn. Astringent. Medium bodied.

Sampled at Slutfest 3. Thanks Maniac. NOT! Clear light yellow. Flat overly sweet grainy buttery flavor. Nothing special here. And not enough alcohol to be justified as an "ice" beer in my opinion.

Metalchopz (1429) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2012
Originally rated May 2005. Mild sweet malt aroma with slight alcohol. Quite smooth for a 5.9% ABV ice swill macro. Nothing offensive here. Pale golden amber colour with lively carbonation. Not bad head, with some lace. Long sweet aftertaste with mild sourness. No sign of corn in this one. Last ice beer I had must of been like 10-15 years ago... and had a bad recollection of it. This one is not bad at all.

PorterPounder (4114) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 24 oz can. Medium gold pour, fluffy white head. Atrocious aroma - mixture of hair tonic and wet canine - awful. Flavor is much better than the aroma, some wet paper bag notes. some grassiness, typical lager flavor. Smooth mouthfeel for the style. If you can get past the aroma - not a bad one to get your drink on.

12 ounce can labeled Mountain Brew Beer Ice, $1.29 for 2 cans, what a steal. However poured a light, light yellow color with feint aromas of grass, and candi corn. Taste was horrible, slammed the beer shotgun style so it wouldn’t linger.

Got this beer after a day at work. $1.29 for 24oz. Pours murky gold with a fizzy head that lasts maybe 3 seconds before it fades into nothing, leaving not even a small ring of foam. Aroma of fruit and grain. Taste is not as bad as expected, apricot, plum, grain. Okay... now that I’ve been trying to choke this down for 30 minutes, it is really really really bad.

24 oz. can from a plastic hotel cup. Deep golden pour with almost no head. Aroma is quite foul and vegetal...but does have a lager sweetness. Taste is adjunct-laden and seems very industrial. Some off alcohols in the finsh. Thicker than average lager mouthfeel. This is pretty bad stuff.
