0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Very, very light yellow with immediately dissapearing white foam head. Aroma is almost not present, taste is watered down pilserner, only some malty tones present. No aftertaste, flushed most of it away. (Montreal 201210)

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Genny Light has a thick, stark-white head and a clear, bubbly, golden-straw appearance, with splotchy lacing left behind. The aroma is of musty, sour grains, grain husks, and faint grape juice. Taste is of sweet and sour grain, faint grape, and corn meal. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Genny Light finishes decently crisp and refreshing. This is a budget beer, and it presents itself as such. RJT

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Willie Nelson may have written a song called "Genny" that talked about a sweet, light bodied thing that was popular with the 3rd shifters in upstate NY. Genny hangs out at State Fair parking lots and next to the 36 packs in gas station convenient stores and was good for a cheap date in the back of a truck. Itís east coast High Life. Itís a cheap, light beer thatís not-so-bright yellow and sweet. I liked it just about as much as I liked Yuengling. In a subpar style - pale lager - Genny LIght is ok.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Almost no aroma or flavor, which is somewhat expected. The taste isnít horrible though and a little lighter than other light beers from large breweries. It is cheap, but for even this price and size there are better offerings out there.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
I decided if i was going to lIve in western ny, i have to at least have the cheap beer from there. Enter Genny light. Light yellow, thin non existent head. Thin nose of corn. Corn corn corn on the front with bitterness. No hop flavor or aroma. Watery and thin body. Typical macro swill, but it claims to be nothing but that.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pour is ultra light yellow and fizzy. Itís old school bad beer sold for 99 cents in a 24oz tall boy can. I donít think I have ever rated a beer with this many review with an overall score of zero.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
There is no better beer then Genny Light that comes in 30 packs for $14.95. It wouldnít be fair to compare to an A4 to a Altima. This is a great beer compared its peers thatís what is important and relevant.
