Legend has it that they make this beer by just scooping cans out of the sh*t-green Genesee River. One would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

The only beers worse than this one are Genny Cream Ale and Golden Anniversary. Rochester is the shit beer capital.

This beer is named after a river (Genesee) that runs through Rochester NY. What do you think it taste like?

3.6% alcohol man thats weak. Well i’ve had a few worse beers. This one wasn’t too watery, but it did have that crappy light beer taste. Its like drinking diet soda and having to deal with that horrible nutra-sweet after taste YUCK!

Nose is fait cider, light malt, lemon, bread. Very VERY light tan body. Head fades quickly. Kind of fruity - lemon - with someting sour and a bittersweet bready finish. Overy carbonated, thin mouthfeel. Still, its humid, 90 degrees out and I’ve had worse.
