Draft. Pours clear black, medium tan head, spotty lacing. Nose is oats, faint black licorice, big roast malt. Further nosing coaxes out the coffee and toasted oats lurking underneath. Flavours of oats, cream, very slightly boozy or astringent in the finish. Fairly classic stout.

(Draught) Pours an opaque black body with a medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, raisins, oatmeal, and chocolate. Flavor of chocolate, oatmeal, light coffee, and roasted malt.

Black pour with tan head and lace. Huge aroma of burnt coffee dominates. Espresso and toasted malt flavor. Creamy bodied with good carbonation. A beer I liked.

on tap-pours a tan head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty. Taste is oat/dark malt-roasty/coffee, secondary earthy.

on tap as part of the sampler pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is roasted coffee and roast. Flavor is ashy with again light roast and semi-sweet coffee. Really nice blended with the porter!

Draft at pub. Weak nose, hints of coffee and oats. Dark cocoa, light coffee, and slight oats in the finish. Could be a bit thicker, but is nice and smooth like the porter.

[Tap] Dark brown pour without any head. Roasted malt aroma with more subtle vanilla and caramel notes in the nose. Similar taste of dry coffee, bittersweet chocolate, oatmeal and earth. Grainy and somewhat astringent finish. A bit light, but acceptable for an oatmeal stout. One of the better beers I had at the brewpub.

Aroma: Roasted malts and chocolate
Taste: Roasted malts, chocolate and grainy
Nice and easy drinking

Nearly black. Brown head. Toasty and dry aroma with some oats, chocolate and coffee. Flavor is smooth, creamy, dry, coffee, bitter chocolate. Tasty.

Brown color/ tan head. Mild coffee mocha aromas. Light/medium body. Decent coffee chocolate black malt flavor is a bit thin.
