I used to really enjoy this beer, but I don’t think they brew it anymore. It had just the right amount of honey, not too sweet, yet still a pronouned honey flavor.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was a nice change from the traditional Irish red. Nice tones of honey but definitely not overpowering.

Too sweet and not enough grain. Lower end of acceptable. Not enough flavor and not crisp or bright. Anything less is not worth the effort. Borderline.

Pours a medium golden yellow color. Aromas of corn, hops, and a touch of sweetness. Flavors is typical lager with a hint of sweetness. Doesn’t really do anything for the beer.

Bottle. Not a bad ale, especially if Killian’s Red leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth.
