(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com)
As I recall, this was a nice change from the traditional Irish red. Nice tones of honey but definitely not overpowering.

12oz bottle. Very similar to the killians irish red but with added tones of honey that give it a slight added sweetness.

Too sweet and not enough grain. Lower end of acceptable. Not enough flavor and not crisp or bright. Anything less is not worth the effort. Borderline.

I used to really enjoy this beer, but I don’t think they brew it anymore. It had just the right amount of honey, not too sweet, yet still a pronouned honey flavor.

Pours a medium golden yellow color. Aromas of corn, hops, and a touch of sweetness. Flavors is typical lager with a hint of sweetness. Doesn’t really do anything for the beer.

Bottle. Not a bad ale, especially if Killian’s Red leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth.

This is alright. The Red is much better I think. The taste of honey in beer doesn’t do it for me. The aftertaste is awful.

VERY similar to Dundees Honey Brown Lager. Killians being one of my fallback beers (and usually the only decent beer on tap at most bars in Alabama), I thought I’d give this a shot. Smooth, tasty and altogether inoffensive ... basically Killian’s with a dollop of honey sweetness. Not bad, but maybe too sweet to have more than one or two in a sitting.

Decent lager without too much sweetness. SOmewhat weak and watery with a fair amount of malt. somewhat lacking in texture.

Okay, but better lagers than this available. Think this is generic taste for most honey browns out there...
