Whatís funny is that so many places in this great country of ours believe this is an IMPORT.

Great, lots of character for something you can find at any corner store. Not expensive either. Not the most complex, but im a simple guy anyway.

Marginally hoppy, unmercifully thick and sweet in the bootle; improves somewhat out of the tap. Certainly in the high-end of the macro output, but things have changed SO much in the past ten years. This is not comparable to a brew in the classic Irish style, and is probably not meant to be. As an introduction to darker beers, it is merely adequate.

The finest Irish red since Nichole Kidman (yes I know sheís Australian). Bravo to Coors, now catch up with the rest of your products.

I had a bottle of this recently for the first time since I was in college. I shake my head in wonder at how I could have drank so much of this stuff when I was younger. It starts out nice enough with a rich nutty flavor, but then falls flat on its face. No character and an aftertaste worthy of a warm, year-old can of Old Style.
