2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
My first experience with this was in France, where I had (and remember liking very much) the version brewed by Pelforth. This one, while my favorite Coors product, isn’t the same. Has a beautiful color, some hoppiness, but is still fairly light flavored. I was expecting more maltiness.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2004 As I almost never review the mass produced beers such as this one, I was given a mixed 6 pack of beers by a friend and feel that I should write at least one review. So when she ask me if I drank the beers, I can say yes and I even wrote one up for “RateBeer".
A nice burnished translucent copper color on the pour, head is modest in size, frothy in structure, and a nice light tan in color, the lace seals the glass with a nice sheet. Nose is malt sweet, crisp and clean, start is also somewhat sweet, loaded with malt, top is skinny in feel. Finish crisply acidic, decent hop presence, dry as desert bone aftertaste, drinkable as its 106 outside at the moment and I’m thirsty as “Hell”!

Coors Red. Somewhat light in taste, but a refreshing red.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
A stronger malt presence than all
other Coors products, but still lacking
anything distinct. Somewhat bland but
drinkable (and I mean drinkable in the sense
that it doesn’t taste bad).
