1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
This is really not bad if there is absolutely no craft on the menu. There is a nice aroma of caramel, toffee and roasted malt. Taste is pretty much all malts: caramel and toffee standing out. Fairly smooth and inoffensive. Solid for the style.

I really appreciate the heritage behind this brew, but I think Coorsí process for mass production has just made the whole experience bland. Although I prefer this to most domestic lagers, and I really do appreciate the malted flavor this adds, I still find myself wishing for more.

Itís maybe been 15 years since Iíve had one of these. Itís actually pretty decent. For me if itís a easy drinking amber lager with no off tastes itís a good beer. Slight hop, caramel, malt, there are better amber lagers but this was worth the nostalgia and better than expectations.

Pours a nice reddish color with a descent aroma. Taste is smooth with little harshness or bitter aftertaste. It is enjoyable to drink. Nothing special but better than your average beer.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass.
Appearance: pours a thick off white head that falls moderately with some very light lacing. Head retention is good throughout the drink. Color is clear reddish-amber with moderate streaming carbonation.
Aroma: malt is quite dominate with whole wheat bread and caramel. There is an earthy hop presence in the background.
Mouthfeel: fairly light and frothy with a quick somewhat dry finish.
Flavor: caramel and a strong bread presence with a mild earthy hops in the finish.
Overall: a decent and drinkable brew.

Not a bad beer, not bitter at all. And not as light as one of the lite beers with a watery taste.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An amber colored lager that has a pretty good looking color to it and a nice aroma. Comes off clean and crisp after a sip which is to be exoected for a light bodied beer.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
Probably my favorite beer to drink at a bar that has zero craft. Itís usually available and it does the trick. Clean with some nice malty flavors, nothing much to write home about, however.
