The finest Irish red since Nichole Kidman (yes I know she’s Australian). Bravo to Coors, now catch up with the rest of your products.

On tap at Applebees, and many other places, including from the bottle. Deep orange and rustic red, fading head. Aroma is very faint; toasted caramel malt, cereal grains, light metallic hoppage. Surprisingly brash bitterness up front; toasted malts, apple skins, mild musty hop flavor and a lightly sweet aftertaste. Thin, crisp, dry. Kind of vapid, but nothing too offensive.

Tap. Red brown pour with a decent head. Hint of Caramel, corn, and grain. Good carbonation with some sweetness with some syrupy finish. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Full disclosure--I’m old enough to remember the days when people thought Heineken and Michelob were premium beers. I know, shocking, but true. Back in those dark ages, beers like Killian’s were a glimmer of hope. Flavor is richer, nuttier, and all around better than its mass-produced cousins. This beer still has its place, for instance, when your non-beer-snob friends come to visit.

Orange-amber with off-white head. Sweet corn and grassy hops on the nose. Light caramel malt, crackers and grassy hops. Easy drinking, somewhat flavorful. It's ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
