3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a beautiful clear amber red with a small dissipating tan head. Nose is caramel and light hops. Fairly cream on the palate, the taste is of bread dough, slightly yeasty, with a smooth, soft finish. This beer exceeded my expecatations as it is brewed by mega-brewer Miller-Coors. Try it with smoked salmon on toasted wheat bread.

Had a couple pints at the Ace Hi Tavern in Golden. Easy to drink, pretty decent for $2.25 on tap at a bar. Hopefully it was brewed just a few blocks away but who knows.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is grainy malt. Flavor is caramel, musty grains, ever so light spicy hop. Flavor is much the same. Better than light beer.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a dark red body with hints of copper, white creamy looking head and lacing that sticks to the glass.
The smell was super malty with light bland apples.
The taste was malty, apples come back but in a bland way.
On the palate, it sat about at a light, sessionable, bland aftertaste and finish.
Overall, I used to really like this beer, but these days I really donít see myself ever having this again.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 Bottle.
A- Sharpie markers, alcohol, malty, coffee.
A- Amber color, hazy liquid, minimal head.
T- Coffee, chocolate, creamy, malty, slightly sweet, slightly bitter.
P- Light body, milky texture, average carbonation, flat finish.
O- Odd aroma. Quite malty and thin but a decent flavor. Not really sure how I feel about this one. Not a favorite, but not horrible either.
