I love me some Killians Irish Red! One of my favourite American beers and my favourite amber lager as well! Beats out Rickards and Keiths no problem.

I actually still prefer Killian’s to a lot of Irish Red brews. Def. the best next-level step up beer from the normal crap you see everyone drinking. I can buy a 6-pack of this and be happy when I can’t find what I’m really after.

Pours a dark red with about a finger of white head. Aroma of caramel and honey. Taste is sweet. Lots of caramel and toffee. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. One of the better beers produced by Coors.

As if it’s name didn’t give it away, it pours a nice, deep reddish orange with a thin tan head that doesn’t stick around long. Aroma is light, slightly coppery. Flavor is full, caramel with a nice roasted coffee hint, but very smooth, that finishes clean.

Bottle. Dark brown, very small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty and sugary sweet aroma, caramel with some fruitiness - honey and bread. Body is light to medium, malty and caramel sweetish flavor, light fruitiness - honey, light bread Finish is short to average malty and sweetish, caramel and light bread. Caramel sweet “dark lager” - way too sweet.

Pours a ruby amber with an OK off white head. Aroma is caramel malt. Taste is subdued, but not astringent and well balanced. Lots of sweet malt, caramel a little licorice. Quaffable and certainly a session beer, but nothing outstanding. Comment: Notice how many of the really high ratings are from those with 1 or 2 total ratings? Pretty obvious corporate employees are trying to rack up a higher rating. At least our friends at Ratebeer have the "doesn’t count" 10 total ratings limit.

Originally reviewed: 9/10/10. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a deep red/amber with a small off-white head on top. No lace left behind. Scents of toffee, caramel, honey. This is really on the sweet-smelling side. The caramel comes through in the flavor full-force. But that’s where it stops. This is pretty one-dimensional. Very sweet finish. It had a decent amount of carbonation; body was firm. I don’t know...it’s not bad, but it was pretty average. Nothing that I would scream to get more of.

One of my favorite beers. Unlike most Coors/Bud/Miller products this beer has great body, aroma, flavor, and finish, It’s a great beer to pair with a meal.

I used to think this was top notch, but my palate has grown. Its still decent in a pinch. The nose is grain and malt. The beer is reddish with a fizzy white head. The tasts is some caramel with grain and grass notes. Smooth and very drinkable.

Pours a very clear brownish read with little head and little lacing from a bottle. Prominent caramel and toasted malt. Faintest hint of herbal hops, but could be my imagination. Light to medium bodied with light/medium carbonation. Sticky on the palate. After just having the Boulevard Irish ale, I cannot say this one is quite as good, but very drinkable and quite tasty.

Pours a reddish brown with light white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, and alcohol. Flavor is mildly fruity. Smooth and light, but uninteresting.
