This is a beer that people in the US drink to make themselves think that they are drinking "premium" beer. If there is nothing else available, I will default to this, as it is available everywhere. Nice amber color, thin head with big bubbles that quickly disappears. Watery, but at least there is more "taste" than other Macro stuff. This beer tries to be "just different enough" so that it doesn't turn off the mass public.

A good-looking Irish red (even if no longer brewed in Ireland) - good red/amber colour with thick white head. Taste is malty with some hints of roastiness and some sweetness.

Best when tapped into a pitcher, in a walk in cooler, after working the grill for 300 people in the summer. The appearanceis the best thing about this one caramel, toast, bread, resin, dough, leather, alcohol, ginger, woody, meh for the price, A fraud

This beer is a mild amber. The nose is thin but the taste has a certain bite to it and also a quality which suggests the presence of brewing adjuncts. The balance is good but the finish is a little rough. An okay brew, but nothing special.

Pours a ruby red, not much of a head. Not much of an aroma either, maybe some caramel. Flavor is better, with light malts and sweet caramel. Has a light body feel but isnít watery. Despite its light flavor and feel, this is pretty decent.

Pours a clear amber with a nice ruby cast. Low average head with moderate retention and lacing. Light malt focused nose which is a blend of biscuit and caramel. Medium bodied with a nice smooth texture. Normal carbonation level with associated effervescence on the finish. The well balanced flavor profile begins as the nose and flows to a pleasant bitterness. The finish effervesces nicely accentuating the hop flavor and leaving a tingle on the tongue.

Had this Irish Red on tap when the only alternatives were BMC. The taste is a malty, bready flavor. The head doesnít linger around too long. Not a lot of hop flavor or aroma. This a great alternative to BMC type beers.

Amber with a thin head. Some caramel and maltiness fairly sweet. Decent drinking beer. Not as bad as many of the reviews
