charcot25 (181), Cordova, Tennessee, USA Jun 19, 2007 On draft at a local restaurant. Deep reddish body with small off-white head. Aroma muted by the ridiculously cold glass it was served in. Taste dominated by caramel and mild biscuit notes. No real hop character to speak of.
bsm80 (99), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 7, 2008 Dark red, drink from a keg, I guess slightly malty, a bit fruity, pretty bad, but not a bad choice if you have to host a party... punkrkr27 (348), Clawson, Michigan, USA Sep 6, 2008 Rusty amber colored pour with a short lived off-white head. Subtle caramel and toasted nut aroma with a hint of spicy European hops. Flavor is mostly nutty and toasty with a moderate amount of spicy hops, but still very vegetal, stale and adjuncty tasting. Medium-thin body with lots of carbonation. Not bad for a macro brew but you can still definitely tell that it is. hyperion886 (3), , Pennsylvania, USA does not count Sep 5, 2008 An excellent lager for anyone, very smooth and rich. A must taste for any beer drinker UriahHeep (31), Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2008 Attractive amber pour. Nose of caramel malt. Medium bodied, slightly creamy. Caramel dominated taste. Skunky aftertaste. Good looking and smelling but pretty unremarkable. I won’t go out of my way to drink it again, but it was free so I can’t complain. Bella68 (12), Alabama, USA Sep 1, 2008 On tap at The Boondocks, P.C. Beach, Fl. Dark, amber color with minimal head, yet very creamy to taste. I only tried this because the place didn’t have a whole lot to offer, but it wasn’t as bad as I expected.
