I dont mind this one at all, not the best cheap drinker in my opinion but for the price its one of the best, can guzzle a lot of it in a summertime. The carbonation is a bit annoying and dont like it extremely cold, let it sit for a bit in the warmth so all the rest of the flavours come out.

Aroma is grainy malt. Flavor is caramel, musty grains, ever so light spicy hop. Flavor is much the same. Better than light beer.

Pours amber with a thin head. Some caramel and maltiness fairly sweet. Decent drinking beer. Not as bad as many of the reviews.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a dark red body with hints of copper, white creamy looking head and lacing that sticks to the glass.
The smell was super malty with light bland apples.
The taste was malty, apples come back but in a bland way.
On the palate, it sat about at a light, sessionable, bland aftertaste and finish.
Overall, I used to really like this beer, but these days I really donít see myself ever having this again.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 Bottle.
A- Sharpie markers, alcohol, malty, coffee.
A- Amber color, hazy liquid, minimal head.
T- Coffee, chocolate, creamy, malty, slightly sweet, slightly bitter.
P- Light body, milky texture, average carbonation, flat finish.
O- Odd aroma. Quite malty and thin but a decent flavor. Not really sure how I feel about this one. Not a favorite, but not horrible either.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A nice slightly better-than-average amber lager. Aroma is a faint light maltiness, maybe a little roasty accent. Appearance is an interesting amber red color befitting the name, not much head but good lacing. Taste is a simple but pleasant maltiness with a mild hoppy contrast. Unfortunately it seems there also is some distracting adjunct sweetness present. Medium bodied, not filling. OK, I'll try this again sometime.

Poured from bottle into beer glass. The Aroma is of coffee. Dark Amber color thatís clear. Medium bitter taste again tastes kinda like coffee or chocolate. Medium body beer thin texture with lively carbonation and a bitter finish. Good beer will drink again worst thing is that there isnít much smell to the beer but donít be fooled there is quite a bit of flavor.
